All My Kids Want for Christmas is…

These items are among the things my children (ages 5-15) want under their Christmas tree. As a family we decided quality over quantity and tried to narrow each child down to one or two big presents. Gifts most, if not all, can enjoy for a few years instead of just a few months. Spending several summers going back and forth to dump with truck loads of cheap, broken or disserted toys, has a way of doing that to you. Below are the best prices I could find on their top requests.

We made a lot of compromises this year that we once said we’d never do.

Nintendo Switch

Anyone else have an eight year plus who just discovered the video games you were trying desperately to keep him away from? Yup, I finally caved this year and decided to get him a Nintendo Switch. I’ve been scouring the internet for weeks looking for the best deal. I don’t know if I actually found it, but if you can this Nintendo Switch PRICE and it is still in stock, buy it because it won’t be for long, especially if you need it in time for Christmas. The best price for a Nintendo Switch Lite I’ve been able to find is $199. If you want to go the Refurbished route, you can find it for $179 or less.

Bikes for Kids

Dick’s Sporting Goods is having a sale that will end tonight (12/3/2020) on select bikes. We bought this Schwinn Mountain Bike for our 8 year old when his Home Depot bike fell apart in less than a year.

Our son is tall, the 24″ wheels are just the right height for him, with the seat at the lowest setting. This bike will last him at least four or five years. The best part about Dick’s is, if you order online and have it shipped to a store, they will put it together for you. If you have younger children who need a 16-20″ wheel to transition away from training wheels, I really like the quality of Huffy bikes. We purchased two Huffy Mountain bikes for our five your year twins, one Summit Ridge Girls and one Huffy Ignite Boys.

Urban Air Adventure Park

I don’t know how long this deal will last and, if you order online, you will have to pick up the gift card at the location nearest you. I will say that the one we visited Katy, TX was SUPER clean and not crowded at all thanks to the new reservation rules. If you and your kids are feeling adventurous, I suggest trying this place out and right now they are offering $100 Gift Cards for JUST $50. Stock up because one ticket can run $25 plus per kid.

Adventure Mobile

This Christmas’ biggest ask was for an “Adventure Mobile.” If you’ve ever seen an episode, or every single one multiple times, of The Axel and Daddy Show on Amazon Prime, then you know what I am talking about. A gas power go-kart like this Coleman Go Kart, KT196 currently on sale at Tractor Supply for $999.

You will need to order online and have it shipped to a Tractor Supply location closest to you. They will put in together but, if you don’t pick it up within two days, they will refund your money and sell it to someone else. We learned that lesson the hard way. We are also crazy, need a house with more land and another storage shed.

Outdoor Trampoline

I can honestly say my husband and I never wanted one of these things. We even passed up on opportunities to get hand me down ones for free. Now we are shopping around for the best deal… figures. This Sports Power 14′ Slama Jama Trampoline is on sale at Dick’s for $199.99 (was $299.99) Order online and pick up at a store, hopefully, near you.
